Permanent Medical Insurance
Permanent Medical Insurance requires medical underwriting. In essence means that this policy is not a guaranteed issue. This type of policy, once approved, is permanent protection, unlike the Short Term or Temporary Medical Insurance.

Short Term Medical Insurance
Short Term Medical Insurance is temporary medical insurance. With temporary medical coverage there is no medical underwriting. The policy is automatically approved (guaranteed issuance). This coverage is usually considered, "transitional coverage" due to it's common use of providing transitional coverage in between group coverages. *Please note: Short Term Medical Insurance can be obtained for no more than 365 days in any 555- day period and is not ACA compliant for 2014. Another important characteristic of Short Term Medical Insurance is that it provides no coverage for pre-existing conditions.

To learn more about these types of coverages, or obtain an application for coverage, please contact our office.

Medicare

Medicare was designed to cover some of your health care expenses but not all of them. There are deductibles and coinsurance gaps in Medicare coverage, that may leave you with medical bills to challenge your budget, or long-term debt that spoils your plans. There are plans available to help fill in the Medicare gaps.

For details and specific information regarding obtaining a Medicare supplement plan or Medicare Part D, please contact our office.
